Hello, I will tell you every single minute of my New Year's eve last night. At first, I had no planning about going out to see the Fireworks, but my friend texted me and said that he was no idea where to go and he deff wanted to go somewhere instead of making boredom at his flat. My planning was just to go to the Church for Saturday evening mass, and going somewhere around Orchard or Sommerset, and go back home.
As my previous post, 'WHAT WILL YOU WEAR FOR THE LAST DAY OF THE YEAR?' I wore plain white Crocodile's tee, and covered by Topman's blue denim overshirt for the top. For the bottom, I used my regular light brown long pants—which always I cuffed. Brown Oxford shoes, and there's yellow socks inside. I also used my shades from Oakley, and a leather hat. Those things made a medium heat on me tho. LOL.
I went to the Church, and sitting on one of the chairs there, it's 6.40 and I was supposed to be late, but I was confused because there's just a few of people there. I searched for a information in the front of the main door, and there's no Saturday evening mass because they changed it to the midnight for the New Year's Eve mass. I was like, GREAT! My plan was, I could be sleep till noon, because I don't want to wake up at 10.00am for Church. Woofh! And now, when I'm typing this, it's been 11.10am already, so I will go to the Church for Sunday evening mass.
My friend texted me again to confirm when should we meet. I replied that we met up at Sommerset. I went to the Sommerset, and visited the Forever21 shop. There's no fashion for men there. Even you insist, it's just a few section there for men. I wandered the 313 Sommerset and found Uniqlo on my way. One thing that I remembered about Uniqlo is Nicola Formichetti, and the other thing is Lady Gaga. The outfits there were nice and affordable. And it's there 3rd anniversary when I visited, so there's many cut off cost. My eyes was pointed for the printed jacket, shit, I couldn't resist my self. Since I remembered there's so many jacket left in home, and it seems like, I can't really wear jacket that much in the tropical country, so I resisted my self on buying that. My friend and I ended up our shop in Uniqlo with Uniqlo's plastic bag around our hands.
We decided to move on, and went to Marina Bay, because there will be fireworks there, so we made our way to it. We arrived there and there's so many freaking people there. We walked down the the nearest fireworks, in fact we were at exactly in the front of the fireworks, whoa, great experience. We saw everybody sitting down and yes, we just followed the instruction. We played our iPad because we didn't want the feeling that neither of us want to have—yes boredom. We waited there approximately 1.5 hours.
Actually there was a countdown, but I couldn't really hear the countdown around my place. The fireworks were awesome, and gorgeous. It was a gorgeous of first 9 minutes at 2012. Here's the video—it's not mine, it's my friend's, mine was horrible, you wouldn't want to see it.

After that 9 minutes, going home was an issue. Can you imagine, there's so many people at a place to see that fireworks, and when the show is over, they all will go home at the same time. Boarding the bus is also an issue, there's so many people wanted to board the bus. We even searched for the other bus stop station but no luck, we came back again to the crowded. After a not-so-long we have our luck, the bus stopped exactly in front of us, so we just boarded. We boarded every bus that we can board, no matter what kind of bus or even what number it was. Because we wanted to get away from the crowded and yes, deff most of people do the same. We used technology and alighted at somewhere I can't explain. We walked a lil bit and see the MRT station. Our fight wasn't over yet. Because MRT deff also will be crowded as freak too. The tram arrived and it seemed no luck for us, but one my friend searching for the empty room inside the tram, and whoa, we have our luck there. There's a little empty—at least can be filled for 4 people. We separated at Bishan interchange and made our way home ourself.
It was Saturday-Sunday, so I'd like to sing "Cheers to the freaking weekend, I drink to that ye-yeah" by Rihanna. Freaking awesome weekend.
